| A well preserved 1/32 child's violin made around 1820, everything seems to be original including ebony fingerboard and pegs, the nicely flamed one piece maple back with a repaired crack on the upper left side, the top with 2 repaired cracks, the sides in good condition with one repaired crack, tailpiece and bridge missing. Overall length 32 cm, length of body 18 cm, scale 17 cm, top of the body to the middle of the f-hole 9.6 cm, neck from nut to body 7.4 cm, rim 2.2 cm, upper bout 8.5 cm, middle bout 5.8 cm, lower bout 10.5 cm. |
