| An all original early baroque dancemaster violin, Pochette, around 1700, never changed, has still the original neck, fingerboard, pegs and tailpiece. The only visible damage to the violin are some worm holes, which has no influence on the stability of the instrument. The violin will be playable after the sound post is set. Overall length 48 cm, body length 23.8 cm, scale 27.5 cm, top of the body to the middle of the f-hole 13 cm, neck from nut to body 14.5 cm, rim 1.4 cm, upper bout 9.5 cm, middle bout 7 cm, lower bout 12.5 cm. |
